It time to start thinking about springtime and what better way than to plan your garden! Join the Bennington Area Makers (BAM) and the Bennington Chapter of UVM Extension Master Gardeners on Wednesday, February 26 from 6 – 8 pm to explore the basics of vegetable gardening. Topics will include siting, layout, companion planting, soil preparation, fertility and nutrients, crops, and variety selection for our region. You will have an opportunity to plan your own garden for the coming year. A related workshop, Introduction to Seed Starting, will be held on Thursday, April 9 from 6-8 pm.
