Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen, who tour nationally but live in North Bennington, will perform their original songs and lively folk tunes on Sunday, February 23, at 3 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 108 School St., Bennington. Suggestged donation at the door is $15.

Gillette and Mangsen bring together their love of traditional music and their wealth of original songs. Accompanying themselves with guitars and concertinas, their live performances are known for rich harmony, compelling songs and a good dose of humor. Their six duet albums have appeared on many folk Top Ten lists, from the WFMT Midnight Special (Chicago) to The Boston Globe.
