The Bennington Free Clinic will be hosting its 11th annual fundraiser at Prospect Mountain Ski Touring Center in Woodford on Sunday March 1, 2020. Since 2009, the BFC has been caring for area residents who have no health insurance. Without us, these folks could not afford to see a doctor and would likely fall through the cracks of our fractured dysfunctional health care system. Our Clinic, a subunit of Greater Bennington Interfaith Community Services [a 501(c)3 organization] is in the GBICS building at 121 Depot Street in Bennington along with the Food and Fuel Fund, the Kitchen Cupboard, and the Bennington Oral Health Coalition. We exist only because of the countless hours volunteered by local nurses, doctors, and lay people who serve our patients. Yet we have significant financial needs such as paying for supplies, equipment, medications, lab and imaging tests, etc; so we need your support.

The MAUHS Nordic Ski Team has always helped raise funds for our Clinic. Encouraged first by Coach Bruce Smith and now by Coach Rob Short, these youngsters have raised thousands of dollars each year. We applaud them.
