Families and community members (from Randolph and all surrounding towns) interested in learning more about Waldorf Education can join us on Saturday, February 29th at Kimball Library in Randolph, at 7:30pm. We will be introducing the principles of Waldorf Education and hearing from several parents in our community about their own Waldorf experiences and the value of this beautiful approach to teaching children. We will discuss next steps in our initiative to bring Waldorf Education to our community.
If you are interested in education guided by the following principles, come and join us!
-Developmentally guided curriculum, aimed at teaching the whole child
-Curriculum enlivened with imagination, the arts, and movement
-Play based learning in early childhood and early grades
-Ample time outdoors/outdoor education
-Teachers committed to building strong, long term relationships with families and children, through multiple year looping cycles
-Hands on learning opportunities
-Moral education, delivered through traditional stories and models throughout history
-Tech free until developmentally appropriate grades
We hope to see you there!
In the meantime-join our Facebook group Waldorf Initiative in Central Vermont (Randolph) or email me- rebeccahipps@gmail.com to be added to our email list.
