The John Jorgenson Quintet coming to Chandler on Friday is made up of spectacular musicians, who specialize in the gypsy jazz made famous by Django Reinhardt. But they play many instruments, in styles and tempos inspired by music from all over the world. Always fresh, never repetitive.

My husband and I were sure we would have a horrible time when, three springs ago, some friends dragged us to Chandler to hear the Quintet. Were we ever wrong; they were, and are, terrific!
