Treat yourself to a midwinter farming and singing weekend on our beautiful NEK farm! We'll learn and sing wildly beautiful songs from Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, and more; spend time in the deeply calming presence of pregnant ewes (and maybe newborn lambs!); cook and eat delicious and nourishing farmhouse meals together. We'll be joined by anthropologist Marina Kaganova and her Georgian choir from NYC. Marina has been traveling to Georgia, and singing and studying Georgian music and culture for over a decade, and brings with her a wealth of songs and knowledge. Other highlights: gathering medicinal resins and buds from the forest and making healing salves; wassailing our apple trees; woodfired forest sauna; cheese making workshop.
