Jim Andrews is the featured speaker for this month's Armchair Naturalist Series. New Haven has a wide variety of amphibians including some rare species. Topics will include the identification, natural history, and conservation of a selection of New Haven species. Information on New Haven's threatened reptile, the Eastern Ratsnake, will also be discussed. Jim is a herpetologist/wildlife biologist. He currently serves as chair of the Reptile and Amphibian Scientific Advisory Group to the Vermont Endangered Species Committee and he teaches courses on Vermont reptiles and amphibians at various institutions. All are welcome. Admission is free.
