Roger Hill on Climate Change in Vermont

Past event
Feb 22, 2020, 1:30 to 3 PM

Weatherman Roger Hill references a library of scientific studies and research on how we are all going to be affected by the changed climate right here at home.

Ever since he witnessed the power of a Yellowstone thunderstorm as a kid on a family trip, Roger has been awed and amazed by the weather. He first learned his trade in the Army in Hawaii and worked for the National Weather Service. Since 2000, Roger has been forecasting the weather for the listeners of Radio Vermont (WDEV, WLVB, and 101 The One). He also contracts with Weathering Heights that provides the weather and climate predictions for Vermont's electrical utilities, and local municipalities, schools, outdoor event organizers and maple sugarmakers.

This presentation is sponsored by the Randolph Area Climate Alliance, Kimball Public Library and Chandler Center for the Arts. It will take place in the Esther Mesh room at the Chandler Center. For more information contact Sylvie Desautels at john.p...@gmail.com
