The Vermont Historical Society presents "The Problem of Slavery in Early Vermont, 1777-1810" on Thursday, April 24th at 7 PM at the Old Chapel at CSC in Castleton. Author Harvey Amani Whitfield will discuss his recent book on this topic -- did the 1777 Vermont Constitution really end slavery in Vermont?
