Listening Session on Possible Zoning Changes Feb. 19

Past event
Feb 19, 2020, 5 to 6 PM

The City's volunteer Planning Commission has been working on an overhaul to important parts of the City's Land Development Regulations, including how medium-sized and large projects are designed and reviewed (subdivision & planned unit developments), and how natural resources - hazards and habitat blocks - will be regulated in the future.

This past week, the Commission gave a full presentation of their work to date to the City Council, including an overall approach and a timeline for completion. The presentation, and all project documents, can be found online by visiting the Planning & Zoning Department's website: http://www.sbvt.gov/departments/planning_and_zoning/index.php

The Planning Commission will be hosting a series of listening sessions on both broad topics and specific elements of the proposed regulations over the next few months.

Join us for the first of these on Wednesday, February 19 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at City Hall, 575 Dorset Street. The theme will be "Your Questions So Far". Staff and two Commissioners will be on hand to hear your initial questions. No decisions will be made at this listening session; it's designed to be a chance to hear from you!
