Join us for another Middlesex Mud Season Series event at Rumney Memorial School on Sunday, March 22 from 3:00-5:00 PM.
"Good Clean Fun - Driving an Electric Vehicle in Middlesex" -- Lauri Scharf and Greg & Barb Whitchurch
Bio: Lauri Scharf has lived in Middlesex for 19 years, driving all types of vehicles during that time, most recently a Tesla Model 3 (rear-wheel drive).
For several decades the Whitchurches have heated their house (no backup) & water, & cooked their food with cordwood in a masonry stove, a parlor stove, and a 1910 cookstove; over the years they've slowly added solar PV & hot water & are slowly working on geothermal to add to their air-source heat pump. They are owners of a LEAF, a Niro EV and a net-zero passive house in Middlesex, Vermont. They are retired & low-income & write for www.GreenEnergyTimes.org
If you are interested in attending this event, please RSVP to jobreid57@gmail.com. Drop-ins are always welcome, but it helps us plan and set up the space if we know how many to expect.
See you this Mud Season!
