The topic of Wednesday’s Osher Life Long Institute (OLLI) talk is elections in Vermont, past and present.
We are glad to welcome Marselis Parsons and Kristin Carlson who will present a review of VT elections and electoral campaigns over the years.
Marselis Parsons was a news reporter, anchor and news director with WCAX for 42 years before he retired in 2009. Kristin Carlson reported for WCAX for 12 years before her recent move to Green Mountain Power.
These two popular newscasters will present a review of politics and political campaigns and how they have changed over the last 40 years. They will include some interesting details on the stories behind the stories. This should be an interesting and, at times, amusing talk.
The presentation will be held at Barre’s Aldrich Library at 1:30 on Wednesday, April 9. There is no charge for OLLI members. Suggested donation for non-members is $5.00.
