This Tuesday, the City Council will vote on whether or not to end Interim Zoning (IZ). Continuation of IZ is important for protection of open space at this pivotal moment in South Burlington development. South Burlington is rich in natural history, ecology, and wildlife - a heritage worth consideration. And housing plans are already in place to build on the very lands just identified as having the highest natural resources values. The meeting is scheduled for February 11, at 6:30 at the City Hall. Comments on this issue will be taken at 7:30, + or -. The vote of whether to continue the IZ will happen later in the evening.
