Moretown Elementary hosts the first-ever Winter FOREST FESTIVAL !
Children (and inner-children) of all ages will have a blast at a celebration of winter and outdoor education this coming SATURDAY FEBRUARY 15 from 2:00-4:00 at Moretown Elementary School.
You'll sled down Moretown's epic sledding hill, enjoy complimentary donuts, cider & cocoa in our warming hut, and explore the three "Eco Base Camps" up in the woods. Campfires will be ready for you to make your own roasted bread & popcorn, and each Eco camp will be fully stocked with child-friendly tools for play & discovery.
Come to share the joy of outdoor learning, or just come for a great sledding party. We want to see you there!
Please keep in mind that this event is a fundraiser for Moretown's Eco ("Educating Children Outdoors") Program. Certainly there is no donation required, though donations are most welcome. We will have Forest Fest coffee mugs and (awesome) raffle tickets available for purchase. Some lucky family will win a year of cheese from Cabot - wow! - along with a slew of other great prizes.
