This Friday, February 14 at 7:00, Joel and Ethan Coen's comedy THE BIG LEBOWSKI will be shown at the Maple Corner Community Club, as part of a film comedy series on the second Friday of each month. Jeff Bridges and John Goodman star in a contemporary send-up of Los Angeles-set hand-boiled detective films done with the Coens' signature wit and visual bravura; no one was more surprised than the Coens when their film, after a modest theatrical run in 1998, became a cult favorite on video on DVD. Rick Winston will introduce the film and lead a discussion afterwards; admission is by donation.
