Board Game Night at the Library

Past event
Apr 11, 2014, 6:30 to 9:30 PM

When I was a boy (some 40 years ago now), board games meant Monopoly, Life, or Sorry! I loved those games. These days, board games can be much more complex and involved. I run a board game night at the Ilsley Library on second Fridays of the month. If you're interested in a fun stretch of the brain, come on by at 6:30pm. This month, I'll be bringing Flashpoint (a game with a firefighting theme), Pandemic (a game where you try to save the world from the next plague) and several other selections from my library.

Here's the announcement from the Addison Independent:
The Addison County Gamers invite everyone to come play tabletop board games such as Settlers of Catan, 7 Wonders or Ticket to Ride. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Info: 758-3250 or chuck@burkins.net. Held at the Ilsley Library Community Room, Friday, April 11, 6:30pm
