Murfee, one of the candidates for Mayor, will be hosting a bake sale at Shaws in Fair Haven on February 22nd at 11am to raise money for the new Fair Haven Playground. As you know $80,000 is needed and this is just another way we can help the cause. Our dilemma is baked goods. Friends and I will bake a few of our specialties, but we need much more. Please send me a message if you are willing to donate some baked goods (hint-hint to the parents). We are hoping to have a great turnout to help fund our Playground so please come out and support the kids of Fair Haven! Come out early because we might be sold out before 3:00.
