Gwendolyn Causer from the Audubon Society will present a workshop on why native plants matter. What are the threats? What are the solutions? She will discuss native plant food groups for birds and what birds need in all four seasons.

Also representatives from the Friends of the Mad River and the Winooski Natural Resources Conservation District will discuss stormwater runoff management and native tree planting.
