There are two significant meetings on Monday, Feb. 10th: one an opportunity to comment on Gov. Scott's proposed 2021 budget and one an opportunity to learn about CUDs. Do you know what a "CUD" is? It is a "Community Union District" which could help improve broadband internet service in the NEK and there will be a question relevant to this on the ballots of 27 towns in the NEK on Town Meeting Day, including St. Johnsbury, Lyndon, Danville, Waterford, Barnet, Sutton, Burke, Wheelock, Sheffield, Groton, Peacham, Hardwick, Concord and others. If you would like to learn about CUDs there will be a meeting at NVU/Lyndon on Monday the 10th, see info below. You can also learn about CUDs at www.nekcollaborative.org and there will be more FPF posts about CUDs later.
