SAVE THE DATE! On Tuesday February 11 at 1:00 pm at the Big Picture, Mountain Gardeners invite the public to the informational meeting PLANTS FOR BIRDS: RESTORING OUR COMMUNITY ONE GARDEN AT A TIME. Naturalist Gwendolyn Causer from the Audubon Society will discuss how to attract birds to our yards and community and the importance of native plants which provide food and shelter for birds and wildlife. She will also discuss what are the threats and solutions? Also representatives from the Friends of the Mad River and the Winooski Natural Resources Conservation District will discuss stormwater runoff management and native tree planting. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
