SOUND AN ECHO - P.M. SUNDAYS - FEB. 9
Valley Stage Productions is pleased to announce that "Sound An Echo" will be our next presentation for our "P.M. Sundays" concert series taking place on Sunday, Feb.9 beginning at 4:00 p.m. The concert will occur at the Richmond Congregational Church at 20 Church St. in Richmond. Doors are at 3:30 p.m.
In Sound an Echo Rachel Kilgour and Sara Pajunen create and perform modern minimalist arrangements of old songs that stand the test of time.
Kilgour is an award-winning songwriter whose sincere and lyric-driven work ('a heartfelt slice of indie folk' [Billboard]) has been heard at Lincoln Center and The Sundance Film Festival.
A classically-trained violinist studying contemporary improvisation, Pajunen is a sound artist, composer and an acclaimed progressive practitioner of Nordic folk music with "extra elusive appeal…" (fRoots).
SOUND AN ECHO is interested in bringing new life to the old and remembering how to sing together again.
