I am a bit biased, but I cannot say enough about the work and learning being done at the Burlington Technical Center (BTC). It is truly a place dedicated to real-world, hands-on, rigorous and in-depth learning experiences. Let all preconceptions about what a Tech Center is leave your mind. We prepare students for career AND college- teaching them how to problem-solve, communicate in challenging situations, think critically, and so many other essential skills. We have industry-leading equipment and tools in our studios and labs, making sure students are prepared for our technologically-advanced world.

BTC is hosting an Open House on Saturday, February 8, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. All students and families are welcome to drop by and learn about the wide array of Career and Technical Education available. Explore the options of earning college credit while learning valuable skills. Two year programs (generally attended by high school juniors and seniors) include: Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, Auto Body Repair, Auto Science & Technology, Aviation & Aerospace Technology**, Programming & Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Design & Illustration, Digital Media Lab, Human Services, and Health Sciences Academy. We also have a one year foundational tech program, Design Tech (attended by freshmen and sophomores). No registration needed.
