The Artist In Residence Gallery at 10 S. Main St in St. Albans invites you to our monthly Featured Artists Reception on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The Gallery is the setting for the beautiful work of 40 outstanding Vermont artists in a wide range of mediums with prices. Each month our artists gather to socialize with our visitors and our featured artist give a brief presentation about their work. Light refreshments and pleasant conversation are available.
The featured artists for this month are Marianne Marshall, Cherie Marshall and Linda Wirts.
Marianne Marshall began painting several years ago and discovered tremendous enjoyment in painting for herself and also in supporting others to explore painting. Family and friends often find deep personal meaning in their small prints made from her colorful paintings. Marianne is one of February's featured artists at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
Cherie Marshall: Color and form are the key elements of Cherie's work. She is inspired by what she sees in nature and by other forms of artwork, which she reinterprets in glass. She is passionate about exploring the multitude of possibilities within the medium of glass and looks forward to continuing her studies. Cherie is one of our featured artists for the month of February at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, VT.
Linda Wirts has enjoyed working in watercolors for over 20 years. Her studio is at the kitchen sink with its north window, and her subjects are flowers and landscapes. Linda is one of February's featured artists at the Artist Ian Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
