Red Cedar is a small independent school in Bristol that serves 45 students in grades K – 8. Red Cedar offers an inclusive community with a focus on dignity and respect. Our small classes emphasize inquiry, reflection, discussion, reading, writing and experiential learning. Explorations in the arts, our outdoor classroom, field and travel study, wilderness trips, guest presenters, and workshops augment classroom learning. Our bus enables field trips and provides a daily commuter service to Bristol (where it meets the ACTR bus) and points north.
