The Friends of Waterbury Reservoir announces its 2014 Spring & Summer Projects Kick-Off Event on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, from 6-8pm at the Green Mountain Club Hiker Center in Waterbury Center, Vermont. Guest speakers from the Rozalia Project for a Clean Ocean and the Vermont Loon Recovery Program will be featured, volunteer sign-ups will be available, and information will be shared about battling and preventing aquatic nuisance species like Brittle Naiad and Eurasian Watermilfoil. All our welcome, and there is no charge, but registration is requested because space is limited.
