“Starting Strong with Kidpower” Workshop for Children Ages 3-5 and their Adults
May 10, 2014, 11:00-11:50 am at Lake Champlain Waldorf High School campus, 735 Ferry Road, Charlotte

This 50-minute workshop provides an introduction to People Safety Skills with your young child. Storytelling, puppets and interactive role plays introduce simple but powerful skills to handle unkind words, check first before touching something unsafe, move away from someone doing unsafe things such as throwing sand or playing too roughly, and get help from you effectively, even when you are busy. A few simple but powerful skills help kids notice, stop, and get help with potential safety problems like these and many others.

Fee: $30 per student, with adults included. The fee also includes our Kidpower Safety Comic book (retail $12).
Payment plans and scholarships are available.
Enrollment: Class size limited. Pre-registration required: tinyurl.com/kpvt-reg.
