Essex Art League (EAL) invites you to join us this Thursday, February 6 for a drawing session. Volunteer EAL members will pose for us for several quick gesture sketches for a warm up.Then we'll follow with longer poses so we'll have time for details. Prefer a more inanimate model? We'll also have two still lifes set up by our artistic members.

So grab your favorite drawing supplies, a sketchbook (or drawing board and paper) and come join us! If you forget or don't have drawing supplies, we'll share with you. And don't you dare worry about your drawing level; we welcome newcomers of any ability! You'll thank yourself for joining this warm, supportive, group of friends

EAL meets the first Thursday of the month, from 9:00 to 11 AM at the Essex Junction First Congregational Church, 159 Main Street (Rte. 15). We will have a short business meeting followed by a social time with fresh coffee and home-made baked goods, followed by our drawing session.

Grab a camera to take pictures so you can continue drawing at home.Then join us next month (Thursday, March 5) when we'll bring some finished drawings for a pop-up gallery. Our main feature of that meeting though will be the watercolorist, Harald Aksdal. Check out his work online. He has the most beautiful detailed watercolors!
