Please remember that you are invited to attend a Black History Month Community Event, co-sponsored by the Wolcott United Methodist Church, Ballet Wolcott, and the Wolcott Historical on Saturday, February 8 at 5:00PM at the Wolcott Town Hall, featuring an African Dinner (with a few American dishes), African dances by Ballet Wolcott, and a brief presentation of the ministry of the Rev. George S. Brown, African American founder of the Wolcott UMC and Missionary to Africa (1836-1844). Cost: $10/adult and $5.00/children ages 5-12. Children under 5 free. Come and bring a friend and enjoy a unique part of Wolcott's history!
