FREE Fall Prevention Beginner Tai Chi Class at Lanpher Memorial Library, Hyde Park!
Lanpher Memorial Library is excited to offer an upcoming, FREE Tai Chi Class!
This 6-week session begins Thursday, February 13 at 5:00pm and will be held every Thursday from 5:00pm-6:00pm the Lanpher Memorial Library, Main Street, Hyde Park, VT.
Falls Prevention Tai Chi is a low-impact physical activity program proven to reduce falls, arthritis pain and decrease depression, anxiety, and osteoporosis. The sessions include gentle range-of-motion exercises that are suitable for every fitness level and ability. Led by a trained program leader, Valerie Valcour, these enjoyable and motivational classes may be taken either standing or sitting in a chair. Participants should wear comfortable shoes and clothing and bring own water.
