The Community Quilts Committee of the Champlain Valley Quilt Guild of Vermont will be hosting several Sew Ins to construct quilts, place mats, and pillowcases for donation to local charities. While this is not a class in basic quilting, we do encourage all levels of quilters to join us in cutting, ironing, piecing, basting, and quilting our projects. Fabric kits and batting will be provided, but you are welcomed and thanked to bring your own donations as well. We ask that you bring your own sewing machine if you are able, but we have plenty of other tasks and possibly extra machines if you are unable. We can also can help you bring in your machine from your car if you need help with carrying it. A light lunch of pizza and snacks will be provided, but please feel free to bring food for yourself and others. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, February 1, from 10-2 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Shelburne.
