OUR PRESENTERS:
Laura King, Middlebury Natural Food Co-op – Laura King is the Human Resources Manager at the Middlebury Natural Foods Co-op. She started the HR Department at the Co-op 14 years ago and enjoys supporting the Co-op's growth with talented staff. Previously she worked with non-profits and educational organizations in a variety of roles.

Heather Jerome, National Bank of Middlebury – Heather has worked at National Bank of Middlebury for 11 years and have been the HR Officer since 2017. She has a BA in Elementary Education and over 15 years of retail management experience. Her background in retail operations management has helped immensely in the HR position by seeing, firsthand, the effects of HR policies and procedures on a company's staff. Working for a small organization means that Heather wears many 'hats', but she is primarily responsible for interviewing, hiring, onboarding, compliance and benefits.
