Have you ever wondered why the moon appears the way it does in the sky ? Peoples Academy welcomes the community to a lunar viewing event Friday January 31, 2020 from 6-8pm. The program will begin in the science classrooms with hands on activities to teach attendees about the moon phases and how they occur. We will be joined by area NASA Solar System Ambassadors. The weather permitting the group will move outside to view the moon and the planet Venus through the Grout Observatory Telescope and other available telescopes. Bring binoculars if you have them. Wear your winter boots and dress warm. We hope to see you Friday.
