Have you heard of the Northfield Ridges + River Routes Project?

This community committee received a large grant (Better Connections) to explore ways to improve active transportation and connection of recreation trail systems in Northfield to boost economic development and health outcomes (e.g. increase access to healthy food, safe and easy exercise options, etc.).

One component of the grant is for community input. We are hosting several public activities to this aim, including setting up tables at places people convene for an interactive survey. You may have seen us around town!

Better access to Paine Mountain with connection to our village businesses?? Easier and safer routes to the Falls? Accessible bike paths? What's your vision?

On Thursday 1/30 there will be a Public Open House from 5-7pm in the Community Room at the Brown Public Library. Come enjoy some refreshments and lend your opinion about what you would like to see in your town!
