The 2020 series of free community dinners hosted by St. James' Episcopal Church in Arlington begins Friday, Jan. 31, in the church Undercroft. The menu includes homemade stews (including vegetarian options), salad, breads, beverages and a selection of Bundt cakes for dessert. The dinner is free, although free-will donations are gratefully accepted and will benefit Bennington Project Independence, the area's adult day-care agency. Come join your friends and neighbors for a hearty meal and a companionable time of sharing.

St. James' is handicapped-accessible and there is plenty of parking. The other dinners will take place on the last Friday of February, March and April; watch for details about menus. For details, call the church office at 802-375-9952. All are welcome!
