(posting for my organization)
This Saturday, February 1st, at the Richmond Free Library, join Malia Matteson and Holly Wilkinson for a guided sensory exploration: We will listen from the body to what arises within us. We will engage in a wordless dialogue that supports our vitality, insight, and wonder through connecting deeply with the natural world within and around us. *We request people to bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow for their comfort* SIGN UP ON FACEBOOK
Malia Matteson is a naturalist, activist, dancer, guide, artist, teacher and avid non-expert in a wide array of subjects. Building bridges of discovery and remembrance between things long divided makes her heart sing. Malia works as a clinician at Lund Family Center where she leads groups in nature therapy, expressive arts, and Nia.
Holly is a long-time convenor of circles, a certified Courage & Renewal facilitator and Executive Director of WholeHeart. Committed to reweaving the world with care and connection, Holly is an active apprentice to a variety of listening traditions.
About the Series: In these times when there is so much noise and chaos coming at us, time to pause and listen fortifies our hearts and our well-being. Come join us at the Richmond Free Library for a three hour session of creative expression, reflection, and small group sharing to explore new ways of listening to connect with your own wisdom in community.
This series is in the spirit of the gift economy and we welcome the contribution of your presence and, if possible, financial support towards costs. See you soon!
