Vermont author Sam Brakeley will read from and discuss his new nonfiction book, Skiing with Henry Knox. Nature and geography meet heart and emotion in this wonderfully rich and well-told tale and Brakeley's love for and knowledge about the Vermont woods is enriched by the historical underpinnings of General Henry Knox's strategic American Revolution maneuver.

Presented by The Vermont Book Shop in partnership with Frost Mountain Nordic Ski Club. Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Booksigning to follow. A portion of book sales at this event will benefit Frost Mountain Nordic Ski Club, a local nonprofit.
