Travel vicariously through the highlands of northern Scotland as Tim McKay uses maps and photos to illustrate the two weeks that he and Betsy spent there in the fall. They drove 1100 miles, spending time in Glencoe, Ullapool, Bettyhill (the heart of ancestral McKay country), and Tomintoul, enjoying rainy walks, layers of history, genealogy, forestry, and the wild and barren far northwest. There is even a chance encounter with the Queen!
