Live Jazz Celebrates the Scientific Revolution

January 22 is Francis Bacon's birthday. Perhaps the most influential thinker...ever?...he essentially invented the scientific method, demanding experiment and observation to counter dogma and superstition, and ushered in the Scientific Revolution. Oh, he also ran England for a time, helped establish British colonies in America, heavily influenced the idea of "the Common Law", and coined the phrase "Knowledge is Power."

We will honor him this Wednesday by playing silly old songs, so join us at Pulcinella's for superb Italian cuisine. 100 Dorset Street. 630-830 PM. Bring all your friends!
