Brattleboro Union High School (BUHS) student group AWARE will be facilitating a conversation at the Brooks Memorial Library in Brattleboro, Vermont analyzing the role of white supremacy in our lives and how we can fight it.

AWARE was started in 1998 by counselor Bob Peeples, BUHS students and Brattleboro Area Middle School (BAMS) students. AWARE is a group of students of color advised by WSESD Diversity Coordinator, Mikaela Simms. The high school AWARE group(or students) will be holding the conversation.

This conversation will be held in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who fought for human liberation.
