The Rupert Kittay Library is pleased to welcome John Pelton, a local snowshoe racer, on Sunday, January 19th at 2 pm for a snowshoe discussion. John has raced in the National Snowshoe Racing Championships in California, Massachusetts, New York, Wisconsin, Oregon and Vermont. John will be sharing his snowshoeing experiences, stories and pictures. He also will have examples of old snowshoes, recreational snowshoes and racing snowshoes.

This program will introduce the Snowshoe lending program presently at the Kittay Library. The Library has 4 pairs of snowshoes, 2 children and 2 adult, that will be available to check out by the library patrons over 18. These were donated to the Library by RISE Vermont.
