Come and join us in sewing cloth bags to end plastic bag production and usage! We'll have fabric,patterns, stories, inspiration and commitment to share - if you don't know how to sew, or are rusty ( as many of us were), there's a mentor and much assistance. Handwork is good for our community, good for our souls and fun!

We make the bags, and then give them away so that everyone has a cloth bag to use while shopping anywhere: groceries,drug store,Agway,etc. - bring your bag to shop, and end the unnecessary usage of plastic bags.
See you at the Makery, which is in the Hannaford Career Center, next to Middlebury High School, with lots of parking. Sewing Lab is on 1st floor.
