In Jenni Bee's work, "Welcome to America: In Memoriam," several hands stick out from between the bars of an empty cage. This multimedia memorial to migrants seeking asylum in the United States is the inspiration behind 'Not My America.'
Featuring 30 artists, this group show sheds light on the current sociopolitical climate through film, visual art and live performance—from Bee's thought-provoking piece to traditional dance from the Creative Bhutanese Circle to the political satire of Matt Morris' Trump paintings.
