The Roald Dahl Book Club is now reading The BFG, and watching the James and the Giant Peach movie. It's not too late to join, email Youth Services Librarian Cari Varner at varnumyouth@gmail.com to be part of this lively group!

The book club is designed ages 8-12, but is open to anyone.Younger kids are welcome to participate as well, as the chapters make a perfect amount to be read aloud. Those seven and under should be accompanied by an adult to the meetings. Each weekly meeting will feature a discussion and craft or activity, with snacks provided. Copies of the books will be provided to all. Note: we will not be meeting on Mon. Jan 20 in recognition of Martin Luther King Day. The Varnum Memorial Library is located at 194 Main Street, 644-2117.
