What is this program Girls on the Run ???

Girls on the Run Vermont (GOTRVT) is a non-profit organization with a simple vision - to create a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential, and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. While our vision is simple, the path to get there is not as easy. Each year, thousands of girls across Vermont are given the opportunity to participate in a life-changing program that offers them the necessary tools to grow into joyful, healthy, and confident young women. From self-respect and the power of positive thinking, to taking a stand against bullying and the importance of community involvement, each interactive lesson provides these superstars with an experience she will remember for a lifetime and the encouragement to be the "author" of her own story.

At Girls on the Run, our goal is to strive to make this 10-week after-school program accessible to every girl regardless of her family's financial circumstances. But they can't do it alone, that's why our team is fundraising to support our girls in Danville.
