Help tens of thousands of our Vermont neighbors who need a raise in the minimum wage. Meet your state reps and share your and your friends' and neighbors' stories. As shown by the Public Assets Institute, Vermont's affordability crisis is a low wage crisis.

Join the Raise the Wage Coalition and Local Reps on Monday 1/13 at 7:30am at the community room at the First Unitarian Universalist Church at the top of Church Street (152 Pearl Street) for a light breakfast and a discussion on Raising the Minimum wage in VT.

If you make under $15/hr, sharing your story will put a human face on the hardships that low wages bring. If you have family or friends struggling to get by, sharing their stories will show how our communities are affected. If you own or work in businesses that pay fair wages, your stories will prove that a more just way is possible. We need you to share your stories in person. We need you to share them in writing. We need you to come to the Monday January 13 the legislative breakfast at the First Unitarian of Burlington (at 7:30 a.m.) to meet legislators and get them to commit to passing a minimum wage increase at the beginning of the legislative session.
