Suppressed: the Fight to Vote. Film and Discussion

Past event
Jan 29, 2020, 6:30 to 8:30 PM

Suppressed: The Fight to Vote paints a vivid picture of voter suppression in the 2018 GA Governor's race, which undermined Stacey Abrams' chance to become the first black female governor in the US. Voter suppression affects millions of voters around the US.

The film and discussion is at Main Street Landing Film House on January 29th at 6:30. The event is free but donations are encouraged to support Fair Fight, founded by Stacey Abrams to fight voter suppression.

The event is sponsored by Lean Left VT, Essex Resists, Flip the Vote, and the Peace & Justice Center. Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center has generously donated the use of their facility for this important event.
