Take Control of Your Car Life (Workshop offered by Vermont Works for Women)

Monday, April 28, 6-8 pm

Buying a vehicle can be one of life's more stressful events, yet it doesn't have to be!

TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR CAR LIFE, hosted by Vermont Works for Women, puts you in the driver seat of your next car or truck purchase. This workshop, led by a woman with 30 years experience in the auto business, will cover: budgeting for vehicles; essential car features & the fluff-stuff; the process of buying a car; online resources to make you a smarter car-buyer; how to negotiate price; your rights if things go wrong; and vehicle questions of any kind!

Workshop guide: Eileen Hughes Nooney is director of transportation programs for Central Vermont Community Action in Barre, assisting consumers around the state with car problems of all kinds. She has worked in the car business in Vermont and Connecticut for 30 years - fixing cars, selling cars, in parts & service, and as service manager for two large Chittenden County dealerships.
