The Vermont Chapter of the Society of Landscape Architects (VTASLA) is excited to be presenting the 2019 Doug Crowell Lecture Series on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 7:30 PM at the Gallery at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center. This year Patricia O'Donnell, FASLA, principal at Heritage Landscapes will be speaking about the Shelburne Farms Landscapes: From Olmsted into the Future. Heritage Landscapes of Charlotte, Vermont is the only 2019 recipient of the ASLA Firm Award - the highest honor bestowed by the national organization. Their work focuses on integrating heritage and sustainability into cultural landscapes around the country and world. Heritage Landscapes has been working with Shelburne Farms for over 20 years. There will be a reception starting at 7:00 PM with light food and drink followed by the lecture. The Gallery is located at 3 Main Street, Burlington, Vermont. The Doug Crowell Lecture is free and open to the public.
