The Greater Stowe Interfaith Coalition is honored to welcome Kiah Morris as the keynote speaker for our annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at 6 p.m. at St. Johns in the Mountains Episcopal Church in Stowe.

Kiah Morris is Executive Director of the Vermont Coalition on Ethnic and Social Equity in Schools. She is an author, advocate and performance artist. Formerly the only black woman legislator in Vermont, (D-Bennington), Kiah Morris was a victim of racial harassment and the target of online slurs, as well as threats to her safety. She resigned from elected office in 2018. This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
