A New "Movie" On Show Now In Randolph!

At The Arts Bus, we've been collecting your movies DVDs & music CDs for nearly a year....and we baked up something new this winter! On show now at 27 N. Main Street is "Paris in Spring", a brighten-your-day display showcasing over 450 shiny, colorful, silvery flowers and leaves -- all of which are those cd/dvds that you donated. And, they haven't been painted -- they have been baked, then stretched, shaped and reformed into new pieces of art!

And...this is just the beginning of the showering of flowers! Thanks (so much!) to Rachi Farrow, the Arts Bus will add pieces to the display through Valentine's Day with your pARTicipation. We'll be collecting new additions in our travels & teaching, post event times for drop-offs on our Facebook page -- all with the intent to build community art collages with a medium re-purposed plastics to make our village just a little more beautiful, inside and out.

Thank you to South Royalton & Tunbridge elementary kids for being artistic 'guinea pigs' with a new medium of baked DVDs, Mark Hackett for 2 days of installation help & new insights about action-oriented art for 5-6th grade boys, and Rachi, for your inspiration and support! 😃 This has been a real discovery in the Arts Bus adventures...and we ended up in Paris!
